"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9
For those of you who haven't accepted Christ into your heart, please know that God loves you so much and is pursuing you and wants you to choose Him. To choose His love, His peace, His death on the cross to cover all your sins. God is knocking on your heart's door and wants to be let in. Will you let Him in?
For those of us that know Christ, we have the absolute priviledge of knowing the Creator of the universe. Not only do we know the Creator of all things, we also have a relationship with our loving Father who sent His Son to die a most painful death for us.
Crazy thing is, as I sat down tonight to write about our 2nd day in Romania, our 1st full day there, I wrote the verse above and then started thinking about those people that don't know Christ yet. And an update on what happened in my life 2 weeks ago, doesn't seem as important as writing about the lost.
Our life on this earth is all about glorifying Him. Loving God and loving people. And as we love people, we desire for them to know God and have a personal relationship with Him. And can you imagine.. the desire that we have for people to know God pales in comparison to the immense desire that God has for all people to know Him. Matthew 28:18-20 is called the Great Commission verse. The verse to send people out on missions. But you know what? We are ALL on missions. EVERY DAY.
I'm going to save my personal stories from my Monday in Bucharest for another day.
Please, pray for the harvest. Pray for those that haven't heard the gospel. Pray for those people that you meet on a daily basis. Ask God to use you in your work and your personal life and you'll be AMAZED at the story that He has written for you.
"Now, all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think" Ephesians 3:20
