"I have come that they may have life and have it to the full". John 10:10
As I talked about in my blog post from 11/8, I am currently on a journey of partnership. No part of this process that I am on right now can be done on my own. In order for me to do the work that God has called me to do, I am able to be in partnerships with people.
And through this process, I am blessed. I am so incredibly blessed by the way that people are partnering with me in this journey. People are generously giving of themselves, their time, and their finances.
The verse that I put above is what I am feeling right now. I am feeling an outpouring of support which fills my cup to the brim and is overpouring. I am thanking and praising God for the way that His people are serving Him by joining with me. Through the depth of God's love for His people, we are all so blessed and our lives are FULL. Full of life! This first month of developing partners in ministry has been so encouraging, and my seatbelt is on! :) I have heard some people reference the Christian life as being boring..they may say that there is no more "fun". Oh, how wrong they are. Christians seek to follow Christ and that is an incredibly challenging yet beautiful..and inspiring..FULL life.
My first goal with ReachGlobal is to have 50% of my monthly support pledged by December 31st, so I can begin to take classes. If I don't have 50% of my monthly support pledged by the end of the year, I will need to wait until the next classes are offered which will be a few more months down the road. At this point, I am at 35% of my monthly support pledged! Which means I am needing 15% more support pledged by the end of the year to start taking classes. (Before I go to Romania, 100% of my monthly support must be pledged). If you are interested in learning more about financially partnering with me, either contact me, click on the email envelope at the top right of this screen, or read the "Ways to Partner with Me" section above.
A quick update:
This past weekend I was in my hometown sharing with people that I grew up with. I was able to share God's work in my life with a group in my parent's home on Saturday and then I shared during my hometown church's service and after the service as well. I felt so welcome and uplifted by the support all weekend. Did I mention that I feel blessed through this whole process? Because me oh my, God is good.
This weekend I am going home again. I hope to talk with a few people on Saturday that I wasn't able to talk with last weekend. On Sunday I have the opportunity to talk with my aunt and uncle's church. They have been along with me on this journey since August, and I look forward to meeting them and sharing more of this story in person with them.
For those of you that are new to my blog, you can scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the "previous" buttons until you get to my first entry on 6/30/2014. That post gives the background story on how God prepared me for this calling and how the journey with ReachGlobal began.
For those of you that know Christ, may your life be FULL. And may you experience more and more of Him each day. For those of you that don't know Christ, if you have a tug on your heart to talk with someone about Christ..please do that. Christ wants to know you and give you a full life on this earth and eternal life with Him forevermore.
